Our visions

We collaborate with cross-disciplinary professionals to encourage the public to share their love and care for the disadvantaged. We are committed to providing a wide range of rehabilitation services and support to people with disabilities and their caretakers to help them have choices and control over their lives.

Our services

We address the needs of people with disabilities at their different life stages with cross-disciplinary intervention to help them live an independent life with dignity and thus improve their standard of living; we also work closely with different sectors towards a caring and inclusive community, and strengthen our support network for the carers to ease their burden.

Hong Kong’s population is ageing which makes the living crisis and caring difficulties of the mentally handicapped persons and their carers more pressing. We will link up community partners and organisations to form community support networks for the mentally handicapped people and their carers to build a loving and caring city.

Our works

‘Spread Your Love to Build a Loving City’ programme

‘Spread Your Love to Build a Loving City’ programme will be carried out in three phases. The first phase ‘Spread your love’ will train up the carers of disabled persons to be ‘Caring Ambassadors’. They will share their caring experiences and stories to motivate the public to stay resilient against difficult situations and also raise public awareness of the challenging life and pressure of carers.

The second phase ‘Build a loving city’ will focus on education programmes to encourage the community to care for the needs of the carers of disabled people and to form community support network.

The third phase ‘Caring Charter Signing Ceremony cum Carnival’ will invite respective community organisations to sign and be witnesses of the Charter to encourage a caring attitude to disabled persons and their carers. The carnival will be held end of 2017 to spread the message to a wider community.

Make our city great
